What kinds of serious topics are you asking about? because I have generally high tolerance for quote unquote serious topics and the various ways of handling them, but what kinds of examples I might give depends strongly on kinds of examples you're looking for. Like, if you're trying to figure out how to handle mass genocide, I don't want to give you a good example of how climate change is discussed. Furthermore, some media is good for some things and bad for others, so I want to make sure I'm prioritizing the right things.

Like for example, American Horror Story: Coven is a great feminist story, but doesn't do its themes of racism justice. That might be helpful to you, but might not be if that's not what you're looking for!
