Sorry! What I mean is, would his Talent make it more difficult to disinfect him (because he might be restoring the parasites as they weaken)? Or is that not what the Talent is supposed to do?

I'm not exactly planning anything along these lines. I just want to have a better feel for what may develop from this, especially as far as Talents and magics are concerned.
