• REQUIREMENTS •
These 15 comments may be accumulated across up to three separate threads on any qualifying network post or log, with any other player's character. Khu Ioduan weights network and log comments as the same (that is, log tags are not worth "more" than network tags, whether prose or bracket, or all dialogue.) In the case of a post body (log starters, a network post) these count as one comment.
In order for a comment to qualify to be counted for this Activity Check, it must be to a post in the Network or Logs community that was made during August 2018. Please note that comments made to memes, IC inboxes, test drive memes, and other non-game sources are not considered viable for Activity Checks. Khu Ioduan also has an AC grace period of 5 days (the duration of the Activity Check), in which to continue existing threads up to the 5th in order to make the required comment count.
Please be aware that the check in IS mandatory unless you're on hiatus.

• ACTIVITY CHECK POINTS (ACP) •
For making the monthly activity requirements of 15 comments, your character will earn 1 ACP. This is called your Primary ACP. Additionally, every character has a chance to earn one Bonus ACP each month. A second set of 15 comments, likewise accumulated from up to 3 qualifying threads, will result in that character earning a Bonus ACP for the month.
NOTE: Your bonus ACP cannot be made off the same singular character as your primary ACP in the same month. For example, if the character of Bonnie makes all 15 comments with Clyde for her primary ACP, she cannot use another 15 comments with Clyde for her bonus ACP that month.

• AFFINITY RANK CHANGES •
Each month, players are required to submit their Affinity rank changes, moving 2 points total per month in any combination of their choosing. An affinity cannot be ranked at 0 or over 5, and all the Affinity ranks must collectively total 20 points - so points being added to one rank must come from subtracting from another rank, etc.
Part of the AC requirement is a VERY brief description of the character's behaviour that led to the fluctuations in affinity.

Notes: Rutile's coming around to the idea of magic and the Planes enough to have conversations with them (+1 Meta), but they're still not sure how it's any different from religion (-2 Faith), and furthermore, how it can be good. On the more mundane side of things, Rutile has been seen in a lot more shops recently, and though they haven't purchased anything, they also haven't broken anything, and often brought paying customers with them (+1 Commerce).

Notes: Due to Bakura's disappearance, Pepper stopped shopping and engaging on Xa Xa (-1 Arts, -1 Commerce), and has been spending a lot of time hoping (and praying) for his return (+2 Faith).

Notes: Devin was forced to send more time outdoors with Valdis reduced to Meira-size, and spent a good deal of time keepin a sharp eye out for dangerous elements (-1 Crime), and he continues to be disillusioned with religion given his encounter with Bobby during 4th Wall (-1 Faith). He's been forced to consider all the implications of his life here, and how the Dreaming can toss him about, and has been doing some research in his spare time (+2 Meta).

Notes: The Sentry aren't overly pleased with Padparadscha continuing to basically do their job despite not being officially part of the group (Justice -1) and their frequent presence around less trafficked areas of the city has scared off some street artists (Arts -1). They have ended up making an apt call about what a bad idea going out to poke at the Barrier was going to turn out to be, though (Meta +2).

Notes: She got arrested twice (for kidnapping and animal cruelty), but in both times the accusations proved false, so she's not really public enemy material after all (-1 Crime). She also launched Blanket Dance 2.0, and while the new, absurdly bright neon thermal blankets aren't aesthetically pleasing (-1 Arts), the dance video fared better and actually went a wee bit viral than the last (+1 Sci-Tech). And she learned a little more about her Talent — albeit by accident, again (+1 Meta).

Notes: In one conversation, Sheena reveals her bitterness about the religion of her world, while helping Valdis figure out which religious sects to investigate.

Notes: Over here, Raven openly expressed her distaste on most forms of religion, being daughter of Satan and all (-1 Faith). And while this comes with some drawbacks, it also makes her magic powerful. Magic that she stays on top of through daily meditation exercises, and magic that was used to safely get past a security door in the recent event. (+1 Meta)

Notes:
Alice's many issues culminated in a mild episode that could make her seem rather volatile to any passing strangers and her brusque nature doesn't generally assuage those assumptions.
Klaus, despite his best efforts was a bit mopey. Only a 7/10 on his usual scale of 11 for customer service.

Notes: Miniature!X, despite being a victim of the Dreaming's nostalgia kick (-1 Meta), watched so many more shows on the yimo than grownup!X ever did and followed the Xa Xa near religiously (+1 Sci-Tech). Outside of the de-aging, X kept a low profile and had no dealings with crime (-1 Crime), nor did he get into trouble with the Sentry -- he even volunteered for a scouting mission during the Shunt (+1 Justice).

Notes: Zephyr has been basically ignoring his talent (-1 meta) and was a little loud about i don't get it when asked to critique a street artist. (-1 arts) However, he's been diligent about pitching in with the people and businesses who need help, and that's paid some dividends. (+2 commerce)

Affinity Rank Changes: August saw some dramatic developments for the Fool, in that he made a fairly bold and successful attempt to communicate with Aifaran's continent turtle using the Skill magic he acquired long ago, establishing a peculiar dynamic with the turtle and enhancing his knowledge of the planes (+1 Faith, +1 Meta). However, he got mugged, again, and relied on support from Trahearne to settle the matter, rather than seeking out aid from the Sentry (-1 Justice). He also dropped his yimo in the bath tub and thus was completely disconnected from the network until he was able to get it repaired. (-1 Sci-Tech)

Affinity Rank Changes: Kit continues to draw the short straw where the Dreaming is concerned, having a pretty damn unsettling reaction to the strange stone he and Rutile uncovered from the wreckage of the Narrakra, in addition to being mistaken for something called the Storm-Bringer by some of the locals (-2 Meta). However, after a nice chat with Pepper, Kit's reputation among the Sentry has improved, and one was even kind enough to look the other way just this once instead of writing Kit up for jaywalking (+1 Justice).
