Hello everyone,

My name is Shaini, and I am new to Dreamwidth. I'll be bringing Yuuko from xxxHolic. Yuuko is an eccentric fortune teller and witch, most recently from Tokyo, Japan, although it is not her first home.

Her new ability is Summon Caladrius, which suits her nicely. She has found a job serving drinks and possibly telling fortunes on the side, and is quite happy to meet new people.

I'll be adding permissions for her soon, but I am open to almost any kind of RP. If you choose to engage with her in terms of scrying or magics, I will of course need to talk to you OOC about what information you're comfortable with her accessing.

Hi hi I’m Kazie, and I’m stoked for Yuuko! I’m familiar with CLAMP but the only one I really followed was CCS, although I learned enough about the others through RP. Anyway, welcome to Khu! :D

I play Jacen here, and an OC named Ilda. I think both of them will have some interesting CR with Yuuko — Ilda has a wish she wants granted, Jacen’s got visions of the future and whatnot. Haha.

I'm looking forward to trying to do her justice. I'm not sure she has her ability to grant wishes in Aifaran, as it seems to me somewhat linked to her shop and her responsibilites there. But we can see what happens, and how it works out.

I'll be doing up some RP posts for her soon, as in before bed tonight. She's working at Die Rose Tulpe currently, so it's a good spot to find her if you want to keep an eye out.

Hello! I'm Seal, one of your mod team and I play Pepper Potts from Iron Man: Armored Adventures (which is a high school AU of the Marvel universe), and a vampire OC named Devin (who is a nice guy surrounded by asshole exterior). Pepper tends to earnestly collect All The Friends, though I think Devin will potentially have a bit of friction with Yuuko (his future is, uh, interesting and not very appealing to him at the moment lol). Thanks, Seal! I'd love to have Yuuko play with Devin. IC friction can be really fun, and really advance some juicy storylines. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how to go about posting permissions for her. I'm going to have to spend some time reading the other player's perms for ideas how to go about it.

Hello and welcome! I'm Lel, and I play Conan Edogawa from Detective Conan and Will Stanton from the Dark is Rising Sequence. Conan is a detective and determined skeptic reluctantly learning to accept all the crazy things around here, and Will is an immortal time traveling sort of wizard with partial amnesia who currently thinks hes a normal human. So potentially fun CR all around?

I'd love to interact with either of your characters. I'm not familiar with Detective Conan, but you might be happy to know I am a big fan of The Dark Is Rising series. I've read them all more than once.
I very much enjoy the premise of the books, and I think it would be really interesting to see Will interacting with a fellow practitioner of magic, albeit with Will being unaware of his abilities.

To make a very, very long story short, Conan is a famous teenage detective that got in over his head and ended up being poisoned by a secretive criminal organization. Only the poison was experimental, and instead of dying he ended up deaging ten years. So now he's stuck living in hiding as a seven-year-old.

A teenager trapped as a 7 year old... I can think of a few things which are worse, but not many. I'm assuming he will have to re-age at the normal pace?

He's searching for a cure in canon, but no success yet. He's had a few attempts that worked for a few hours, but turned out to be temporary. And not very useful long term, considering he's building an immunity against them, and every time he changes ages he risks dying from the physical stress of the change.

So he needs a good experimental physician to work on drugs, I would think? It seems at the rate you describe, he'll end up aging naturally or dying before he gets a chance to.

He actually has someone who worked on the drug helping him. She's in the same situation, being stuck as a seven year old and living in hiding from the organization. But... she wasn't able to bring any of the research, so she's trying to work from memory. Meanwhile Conan is trying to investigate the organization.

Officially, the entire series takes place over a year, so he's probably not going to age much before he finally gets the cure. But since we're at 900+ episode now, the idea that the entire series is only taking place over a year keeps getting more and more silly.

Oh, so it's in Girl Genius time. Real time of months, story time of 4.5 hours.
