[Mod Announcement] Changing of the Guard

Hi Dreamers, Li here with some news about a big change.

Effective the month of August, I'm going to be stepping down as a mod of Khu Ioduan. Between ongoing health issues and general modding burnout, I haven't been able to give my duties in this game my best, and it's reached the point where I know I need to bite the bullet. I'm going to be handing off the game ownership and stepping back into the role of a player only.

It was a very hard decision - I'm not ashamed to say I'm teary writing this - but I think ultimately it's the right one for me. I began modding for Tu Shanshu in October 2013 as a plot/npc mod, took over as lead mod in May 2014, and we launched Khu Ioduan in January 2018, so that's almost 5 uninterrupted years of modding in this same game sphere. It's been a trip! But a wonderful one.

Through all of that, I've made some really special RL friends because of DWRP, and everyone who's been along for the ride has been a joy to write for and plot with. Thank you all for making my modding experience richer and more rewarding than I could have ever hoped - I appreciate every one of you more than you know.

I leave you all in the brilliantly capable hands of our other four modteam members, of whom I am profusely grateful to for supporting me. I'm looking forward to seeing where they guide the game in months and years to come, and I hope you all are too!

I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for both Tushan and Khu. You were already a mod when I came to Tushan and I was so nervous about interacting with everyone, but your enthusiasm and amazing plotting just made the game feel like home. One of my most favorite memories is being on skype with you and a bunch of other people and having that massive plot drop and hearing everyone's reactions and having reactions. Another was messing with the plots during our Landfall in DC. I've got such amazing memories and rp really helped me get through hard times. The CR development and the amazing plots over the years have made my life so much better and you have been the driving force behind it, so thank you for your dedication. I wish you luck in life and am glad you are sticking around in game.
