✽ GAME STATUS UPDATE

Hello Dreamers!

Thank you to everyone who replied to the June Agenda. Based on that input, the modteam has decided to transition Khu Ioduan to a sandbox game.

Below the cut, we have a list of immediate changes that reflect this transition while we update the comms. There may be some additional changes we make moving forward, but we wanted to provide the community with a response sooner rather than later.

Here are changes to game mechanics effective starting today:

AC is check-in only and we will no longer be making use of ACP
Talent advancement will no longer require ACP expenditure. The modteam will leave advancement up to players, provided a level increase is done in a reasonable amount of time (i.e. one level up per month). For housekeeping purposes, players will still need to submit an advancement comment with one or two sentences reflecting what a character has done to work on their Talent.
Affinities will only be updated for specific events, and players may choose from the pool of all listed Affinities
The application process will remain the same but we will emphasize shorter applications moving forward. If accepted, new characters will be assigned a Talent but will no longer be assigned specific rooms for Housing; players can decide roommates for their characters or have them live in singles. Reservations will be removed from the app process entirely.
The monthly agenda will be simplified; the mods will create at most one large post per month. Players can use this post to mingle and thread out various aspects of the plot, but they may make their own posts and engage in plotting without mod input.
If a player's plot idea has the potential to significantly alter or affect the game setting at large, they will need to consult with the mods.
