Hey guys! Ashley here, joining the parade of new characters to bring in my OC Draz'ohv'inadax, from the setting of Star Wars: The Old Republic. He's from an era about 3,600 years before the movies, during a time when there were a lot more Jedi and Sith around fighting a war against each other.

Zohvin is a Jedi Shadow that blocked his connection to the Force to spy on the Empire, got promoted to working under a Darth, and then started to fall for the guy. Whoops. He's coming into the game while still being undercover as an Imperial agent, no longer knowing where his own loyalties lie. Will he get his head straight while he's stuck in Khu? Maybe! Will he be gathering dirt on everyone like it's his business? You bet!

Witches and Stitches

Hello everyone,

My name is Shaini, and I am new to Dreamwidth. I'll be bringing Yuuko from xxxHolic. Yuuko is an eccentric fortune teller and witch, most recently from Tokyo, Japan, although it is not her first home.

Her new ability is Summon Caladrius, which suits her nicely. She has found a job serving drinks and possibly telling fortunes on the side, and is quite happy to meet new people.

I'll be adding permissions for her soon, but I am open to almost any kind of RP. If you choose to engage with her in terms of scrying or magics, I will of course need to talk to you OOC about what information you're comfortable with her accessing.

Hello! This is Lel, and I'm bringing in a second character. This time it is Will Stanton from The Dark is Rising Sequence.

Will is a quiet and thoughtful kid from rural England in the 1970s. He also happens to be an immortal time traveling sort of wizard with a grab bag of magic abilities and a connection to Arthurian legends. It's complicated.

To make things even more complicated, his canon point is from early in The Grey King, in which he recently survived a severe illness that left him very weak and with partial amnesia. He's going to get tired very easily, and he currently has no memory of ever being anything else than human. Although he still has all of his magic senses that he has no idea how to interpret at the moment.

His talent is summoning brownies, which is incredibly perfect, and he'll be staying in room 4.

Hello all!

My name is Xae and I'm a new face around these parts (uh, sorta). I'm bringing with me Anakin Solo from Star Wars Legends. He is the youngest of the Solo kids and I've taken him from before the hardships that is the NJO. Basically he is an 11 year old kid who still attends his Uncle Luke's Jedi academy and ends up getting into a lot of trouble. Anakin is a pretty quiet kid despite the trouble and does enjoy working with machines. He does have some skill with the Force and if you want to check out his permissions page, that would help me out.

His new power is Preservation and he can turn back time - to the point where he can unspoil that day-old milk or make that fruit ripe again. He is also living in Room 2 at Breakwater Wing buuuut you can count on him being in his older brother Jacen's space quite often (Room 3).

Hi everyone! I'm Chloe (

weirdcuneiform, feel free to add me!) and I'm bringing Rutile from Land of the Lustrous. Rutile's a doctor (read: geologist) who's generally calm and reasonable, but they do have a mischievous streak and are prone to taking apart whatever they can get their hands on. Like the other characters in that series, they are literally made of stone, and as such come with some unique physiology. I've made a spoiler-free post with some details that's available from this journal for anyone interested! (It's also much shorter than my application.)

I don't intend to play out a lot of angst, but I will note that the canon point I've taken Rutile from was emotionally intense for them and they're not going to take arriving in Aifaran very well. I don't believe there are any warnings that need taking into account. Thanks in advance for your characters' patience (or lack thereof)!

Down the Rabbit Hole...

Hey Khu! It's Rivers bringing in character #2 - Alice Liddell from American McGee's Alice Series - aka the goth edgelord interpretation of Alice that we all know and love. I'm bringing her from in between the ending of Madness Returns and the Otherlands shorts.

Niceties aside, the Alice games/shorts deal with some potentially triggering stuff so I'd appreciate if people check the permissions post. I'll use Content Warnings wherever anything particularly nasty may be alluded to, but if there's something specific you don't want me to ever bring up (or just avoid the character altogether), please feel free to let me know, either in the Opt Out section or messaging me privately.

There's also an Opt In form for the abilities she gains in Otherlands. She doesn't have them at the moment, but as she spends time in Aifaran she should gradually develop them. Effectively she is able to enter people's minds - their own Wonderlands if you will - and converse/interact with them and their imaginations. The ability is described as such; "Alice serving as a therapist of sorts and venture into the minds of other tortured souls throughout London to help them conquer their own psychological problems." If that sounds appealing to you, please fill out the Opt In stuff. I'd love to plot stuff out.

Hey guys, Li here again with a roster shakeup, I've dropped Kid for now but I'm bringing in Yato from Noragami instead.

He's an enormous goofball who also happens to be one of Japan's many gods/kami, despite being... very ungodly. Obligatory Scary Side and a Sordid Past ~~yes I have a type~~ neither of which he's keen to get into while in Aifaran, instead he'll be picking up his usual habits of "granting people's wishes" by doing odd jobs.

I'm bringing him in from the end of S1 of the anime, and he's rooming in Quayside Rm #3 and he has a permissions post for sensing other supernatural peoples HERE if you could check it out.

Heron here with a second character, Kaltz from Lamento: Beyond the Void. I'm hoping he'll make a good foil to Kei, seeing as he's generally a very kind person (though he himself would disagree, since, well, he is a devil). ~~Also a much better parent than Kei despite having been mostly absent.~~

Hello friends!

I'm Tex, and I've come here with Ursula Callistis from Little Witch Academia! She's taken from Episode 14, so she is still Ursula. She is a bumbling, sometimes timid professor at a magical school. She's young for a professor (only 24!) and sometimes insecure about that. And under that insecurity, there is a mountain of issues and fear and worry over actions in her past and how it hurt people. In short, it will be fun!

She is a witch and can cast magic. Seriously, she wears a big witch's hat and carries a wand. Her hair, mysteriously, turns red when she really dials up her magic use... and her talent!

I am returning to DW roleplay after a very....very, very long time so I apologize for any rustiness, but I'm super excited to be here!

I'm bringing with me a shrimp/lobster hybrid who can turn into a human! Her name is Lobco and she is a witch's familiar. She's an incredibly smart and capable person but has absolutely no self esteem and can easily panic when overstimulated. She also...unfortunately has faced a lot of abuse in her past so please check out her trigger warning and opt out posts since I wouldn't want to hurt anyone.

She'll never talk about this stuff so it won't come up in dialogue--not for an incredibly long time at least, but if something sets it off it might come up in introspection and how she'll react to people.
